Curvy Girls Rock Star Ellisha Marie Stars in Ghost: The Musical in New York


Harlem Entertainment News' own Ellisha Marie, star of Curvy Girls Rock, is coming to the stage. Beginning in October, she will star in Ghost: The Musical debuting at the White Plains Performing Arts Center in New York. Ellisha will star as Oda Mae Brown. The role was made popular by actress/comedienne Whoopi Goldberg and earned Ms. Goldberg a Best Supporting Actress Oscar.

Ellisha Marie stars in Curvy Girls Rock digital series as Zuri, an ambitious museum owner who is destined to take over the art world. Her character is sexy, beautiful and vibrant. All of the leads in Curvy Girls Rock are plus size, but the weight is not the key focus of the series. The series follows the characters on their journey with love, dating, relationships, friendships and careers. The stories told in the series are universal. The statement the series makes is that all bodies should be represented in the media.
